Instructions on how to disable Share with Copilot on Windows 11
Step 1:
Open Settings , select Personalization , then tap Taskbar and choose Taskbar behaviors to adjust the Taskbar settings.
In the "Share any window from the taskbar with " section, select "None" .
Step 2:
Open the Copilot app and tap Settings . Here, find the Copilot Vision option and turn off the "Start Vision from app in taskbar" setting .
After you make these settings, the Share with Copilot option from the Taskbar with Copilot Vision will be completely disabled on Windows 11.
Microsoft is gradually rolling out this feature with the Windows 11 December 2025 security update (KB5072033), and it will eventually be available to everyone, regardless of whether you have a Copilot+ computer or not.
