How to turn a Layer into Background
Layer operations in Photoshop are one of the essential skills you need to remember to use Photoshop more professionally. In the following article, let's learn how to turn a Layer into a Background in Photoshop through the following tutorial.
1. Change the Layer property to Background
As the sample below, we have a Layer 1 sample and the following we will convert to Layer Background.
To turn into a Background layer, you need to go to Layer (1) => New (2) => Background from Layer (3) .
After doing the above step, Layer 1 has become the background layer as shown below.
2. Switch Layer to Background by merging Layer
Step 1: You hold down the Ctrl key and click on the two layer to select both layers as shown below.
Step 2: Right-click between the two layers and choose Merge Layers .
Once you've merged, your layer has been converted to a background layer.
