How to fix the Flash blocking error due to outdated technology on Chrome and Cốc Cốc browsers.

If you encounter a Flash player blocking error due to being outdated, the following troubleshooting steps will help you quickly get Flash Player working again on Chrome and Cốc Cốc browsers.

1. Fix Flash errors on Google Chrome

Currently, Google Chrome no longer supports NPAPI plugins; therefore, websites using plugins such as Silverlight, Java, and Unity cannot function on Chrome.

Step 1: Download and install   the latest versions of Google Chrome  and  Adobe Flash Player .

Step 2: Launch Google Chrome, type chrome://settings/content in the browser's address bar to quickly access Content Settings , and select the Flash option .

Here, you can enable Flash by toggling the switch next to the " Allow website to run Flash" option , as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Next, update Adobe Flash Player to the latest version, or you can enter the command chrome://components into the Chrome address bar.

Find the Adobe Flash Player entry and click Check for updates , or click the reload page icon to reload it.

After completing the above steps, you can restart your browser once more to check the results.

2. Fix Adobe Flash Player errors on CocCoc

The Cốc Cốc browser uses the same source code as Google Chrome, so issues related to Adobe Flash Player errors are frequently encountered on Cốc Cốc.

The method for fixing the Adobe Flash Player blocking error due to outdated software on Cốc Cốc is similar to that on Chrome. First, you need to download and install the latest version of both  Cốc Cốc  and Adobe Flash Player. After updating, you can follow the instructions below to effectively resolve the error.

Method 1: Temporarily update the Flash plugin.

On the Flash video page you want to watch, you will see a message at the top saying Adobe Flash Player is blocked because it is outdated. Hover your mouse over it and select " Update plugin" . If you only use it a few times, not frequently, you can select "Run this time"  to let Cốc Cốc run normally, but the error will still occur the next time.

Method 2: Update and enable Flash in CocCoc settings.

Similarly to Google Chrome, in the CocCoc browser, you enter the following address into the URL field : coccoc://settings/content .

Here, find the Flash section and click on the "Detect and run important Flash content" option , as shown below.

Next, update the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for Cốc Cốc, or you can enter the command coccoc://components into the Cốc Cốc address bar, find the Adobe Flash Player entry, and click Check for updates . Once done, restart your browser and check the results.

If you encounter an outdated Flash Player error, try restoring your CocCoc browser to its factory settings to improve browsing performance. Otherwise, you can use  Firefox  or Google Chrome as alternatives, as they offer better support for newer technologies.
