How to create device management shortcuts on Windows
Windows Device Manager can also be used to update or reinstall hardware drivers. Although Microsoft provides many ways to access the device manager , creating a shortcut makes it easier for us to launch the tool. Here is a guide to creating a shortcut to the device manager on Windows.
Instructions for creating Windows device management shortcuts
Step 1:
Right-click on an empty space on your computer and select New > Shortcut .
Step 2:
Display the new interface at Type the location of the item you enter devmgmt.msc then click Next below.
Now you need to enter a name for this shortcut and then click Finish below.
As a result you should see the device manager shortcut on your computer screen.
Step 3:
You can also pin the device manager shortcut to the taskbar. Right-click on the shortcut and select the Pin to taskbar option to pin it to the Taskbar.
You can then quickly access the device manager from the Taskbar, or via a desktop shortcut.
