How to block strangers from messaging on Threads

Now you can message on Threads instead of having to access the Instagram app to message someone. By default, Threads allows anyone to message you on Threads, including strangers and people you don't follow. You also need to access your personal Threads account interface. Then click on the 2 dashes icon in the top right corner of the interface.

Step 2:

Threads allows anyone to message you, even people you don't follow. To block Threads messages from strangers , tap Only people you follow .
