How to Block Tags from Your Threads Account

By default, Threads will always allow people to tag your account in their posts or images. This sometimes affects you a lot when you are tagged in unrelated posts, being bothered. To prevent being tagged in such Threads posts, you can adjust the tagging mode, according to the article below.

How to block Threads account tags in posts

Step 1:

First you need to access the personal Threads interface and then select the 2 dashes icon in the upper right corner.

Step 2:

Switch to the account settings interface, select Privacy . Now the user clicks on Tags and mentions to adjust the tagging mode of your Threads account in other people's posts.

Step 3:

Now you see 2 items tag your Threads account: Allow @ mentions from and Who is allowed to tag you . We will change these 2 items to No one to completely block tagging your Threads account on content from other people.

Then other people can't tag your Threads account to link to your personal page, it will only be displayed as text.
