Apple's Music app has built-in equalizer on iPhone and iPad. You can use these EQ settings whether you're an Apple Music subscriber, buying songs from iTunes or listening to music files manually.

Unfortunately, there is no option to set up your own EQ configuration. Apple provides various presets (presets). These EQ settings need to meet all user preferences, whether the person wants to increase the bass or want to hear the voice in the favorite song a little clearer. Unfortunately, these settings are not easy to find in the Music app. Do not worry! The following article will show you how to adjust Equalizer on iPhone and iPad.

How to select EQ preset for Music application

To get started, open the Settings app and scroll down to the Music option , then click it.

Here you will see a list of presets. Each preset will make the song sound a bit different, depending on the settings Apple used to create that preset. Click one of the EQ presets.

On iOS 12.1.4, the available options are Acoustic, Bass Booster, Bass Reducer, Classical, Dance, Deep, Electronic, Flat, Hip Hop, Jazz, Late Night, Latin, Loudness, Lounge, Piano, Pop, R & B, Rock, Small Speakers, Spoken Word, Treble Booster, Treble Reducer and Vocal Booster.

The thing to remember is that this option only affects songs played through the Music app. Songs from Apple Music and music loaded or purchased through iTunes will be able to apply these settings, while Spotify, Tidal and other services will not.

If you want to use the equalizer with other services, look for the EQ option in that application or service. If the application does not provide an EQ option, you cannot activate EQ for music played through that application.

Hope you are succesful.
