Facebook has a technical error that makes a series of old messages 'dig up' alive

Many Facebook users were not startled when they saw a series of old messages, which appeared many years ago on Facebook Messenger messaging application for no reason.

After users complained about this cryptic error on Twitter, Facebook confirmed the situation and apologized. At the same time, the company also said it is trying to overcome this situation.

Many users feel anxious and annoyed because a very long message can remind them of unhappy memories.

A user named Adam on Twitter said, he felt scared when faced with messages appearing from the day his lover died.

On Facebook, users' old messages that were not deleted will be archived. These conversations still exist and are only pushed down by newer messages.

Previously, in 2015, Facebook also had problems with old data when introducing features. Because Facebook's algorithm cannot recognize happy and sad messages, it makes many users recall sad memories.
