Google supports hashtag in reviews on Google Maps for Android
Recently, Google has added new gadgets for Google Maps on Android, allowing users to add hashtag in reviews of locations and businesses.
This new feature allows users to add up to 5 hashtag tags starting with # followed by a description of the location they visited. This will make it easier for users to search for a restaurant or place of entertainment that suits their taste or lifestyle.

Initially, this feature will only be deployed for members of the Local Guides program.
With hashtag #, users will have to provide more specific details than # commonly used on other social apps like Instagram. Avoid using tags that are too wide like #foodie or #sunset because they are not helpful in helping users find places that match specific needs.
Google has not yet revealed the time to deploy this feature on the web and iOS versions of Google Maps.
