In many people's minds, Wi-Fi seems to be faster and better than mobile data. But recent OpenSignal research shows that up to 30 countries around the world have faster mobile data download speeds than Wi-Fi.
Most countries in this group belong to Europe, Central Asia, Africa and South America. At the top is Australia with mobile data rate (13Mbps) faster than Wi-Fi. In Southeast Asia, only Myanmar (9.6Mbps) and Taiwan (1.6Mbps) entered this group. Even developed countries like Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and the United States are not on this list.
