Display notification of Caps Lock macOS key with Captin
Keyboard on Macbook owns fast response speed, smooth typing does not cause too loud knock as other models. However, some macOS users are quite struggling with three Shift, Tab and Caps Lock keys. Since these 3 keys are placed side by side, some people often mistakenly click, leading to wrong content, especially those who regularly edit text.
If you are in a state of confusion with 3 Shift, Tab and Caps Lock keys on macOS Sierra, you can use the Captin app. After we install this application, when the Caps Lock key is activated, you will receive a notification, thereby avoiding mistakenly pressing the keyboard.
Step 1:
First, download the Captin app under the link below:

For macOS Sierra, we need to launch the application from System Preference because it is not an App on the App Store.
Step 2:
Once you have finished installing Captin, we will see the application icon on the Bar menu bar . This icon will automatically turn green if the Cap Lock key is activated on the device.
Besides, Captin will display the HUD (head-up display) message and comes with a notification sound when we turn the Caps Lock key on or off.
Step 3:
Also we can customize some settings of the Captin app icons on Menu Bar and HUD notifications like turning off or turning on icons, disabling HUD notifications, customizing transparency, . If you want to use or not use any customization, we just need to tick or unmark That option.
Captin has a simple design interface and easy to use. When using Captin, you will know whether Caps Lock keys are enabled or not via the icon just below Menu Bar, thereby avoiding typing the wrong keys when writing text content.
