You can choose to download all (data saved in MBOX format) or select each section. Highly customizable capabilities make it easier to manage what you want to back up or export to another location.
Google allows downloading Google Calendar data from today, but Gmail data must wait until 2014
This is part of the Google Takeout service, which allows you to download a record of all Google products. In addition to Gmail and Google Calendar, the file also includes Google+, YouTube, Google, Google Drive, Google Voice, profile, Google location history, Google Hangouts and other Google data. However, it is not until January 2014 that users can download Gmail data. Google Calendar can be downloaded from today.
To download Google data, readers access the link https://www.google.com/settings/takeout, select Account> Download your data> Create an archive and select the content to download .
