Microsoft will enhance the encryption capabilities of the service
Microsoft said it would upgrade the encryption capabilities of its online services such as Outlook.com, Office 365, SkyDrive, Windows Azure to prevent intrusion from other organizations.
According to Neowin on December 5, this information is close to the source of The Washington Post published a few weeks ago.
The Washington Post source said that Microsoft will refine its services to prevent the US National Security Agency ( NSA ) from interfering with its databases.
Lawyer Brad Smith of Microsoft said they currently do not have any direct evidence that the NSA or other government organizations are intending to infiltrate Microsoft's database. However, to be safe, Microsoft will upgrade encryption capabilities to prevent any attack intent.
Brad Smith also said that enhancing encryption capabilities will be completed by the end of 2014.
