How to Listen to Spotify Without Ads: Safe and Supported Options

The supported way to listen to Spotify music without audio ads is to use an eligible Spotify Premium plan. Premium also provides offline music downloads in supported apps, playback control, and other plan-dependent features. A VPN, proxy, music converter, ad blocker, or modified Spotify app is not a reliable substitute and can create account, privacy, security, or copyright problems.

Use Spotify Premium for ad-free music

1. Sign in at Spotify using the account you want to upgrade.
2. Open the Premium plan page for your country.
3. Compare the number of accounts, eligibility rules, billing period, audiobook allowance, and offline-download support shown for each plan.
4. Select a plan and complete payment through Spotify or an authorized app-store billing flow.
5. Open the Spotify app, confirm the plan under your account, and restart playback.
