NAT in WinGate
Network Address Translation (NAT) is a new feature in Wingate that allows clients to access the internet without going through a proxy, this feature is only available from Wingate version 4.30 or higher. NAT provides LANs the ability to share internet connection fast and seamlessly with normal applications. Installing WinGate with NAT function During the installation process, you will see a window like Figure 1 as follows:
Figure 1 You check the box Install ENS. Remember to install this option to enable voice chat and webcams in Yahoo Messenger or other software that supports voice chat and webcam if you use static IP without using DHCP Server to allocate IP to clients. After installation is complete, right-click the WinGate icon located at the bottom right of the screen, select Start Gatekeeper, appear the main window of WinGate as shown in Figure 2: Main window of WinGate

Figure 3 You must make sure that Status is Installed and active. In the Firewall section, if the High level is set, all connections accessed from outside the internet will be rejected. You can also set up to prevent the client from accessing a website you don't want. Small requirements for the client computer (client, client) The default gateway supports part of TCP / IP protocol. NAT works as easily as a default gateway, and packet forwarding if it knows the destination on the internet. Default gateway will not be configured automatically. You need to configure the default gateway as follows: In Windows 9x: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> double click Network -> Tab Gateway
