This is the official version, the complete build of IE 11 for Windows 7. After the Release Preview released in September, today, Microsoft has released an official version of IE 11 browser for Windows 7 users.
This is the final, complete build of the browser, full of features and technologies similar to IE 11 on Windows 8.1, Microsoft's latest computer operating system. Rob Mauceri, director of the Internet Explorer development team, said IE 11 for Windows 7 and 8.1 was developed at the same time, and so not long after Windows 8.1 was released, the version for Windows 7 was announced.
IE 11 for Windows 7 is improved both in security and performance, with features like Pre-fetch and Pre-render that shorten page load time. Microsoft also improved the "Flip Ahead" feature to make the page flip more convenient. (To activate it, go to Internet Properties> Advanced> Browsing and select the box 'Enable Flip Ahead.' ). Windows 7 users can download IE 11 here.
