Microsoft released the first build of Windows 10 without Internet Explorer
Previously, on May 19, Microsoft officially announced that Internet Explorer 11 would be permanently removed from some versions of Windows 10, and completely replaced by the Microsoft browser platform. The new Edge Chromium starts in June 2022. More specifically, after Internet Explorer 11 stops working completely on June 15, 2022, all access to Internet Explorer will be disabled and automatically redirected. to Edge Chromium.
Internet Explorer deprecation directly affects desktop applications distributed via Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) for systems running Windows 10 client SKUs (version 20H2 or later) and Windows 10 IoT (20H2 version or later).
Back with the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21387 update just released in the Dev Channel, besides Internet Explorer, Microsoft has also decided to pause the rollout of 'Eco mode' - a new Task Manager feature introduced in May. Basically, Eco mode is designed to allow users to 'intervene' and 'regulate' processes that are consuming system resources, and free up memory and CPU cycles for other tasks. .
For nearly a month, Eco mode has been rolled out to a small group of Insiders in the Dev Channel to help Microsoft identify issues that could affect system performance and reliability. It's quite unfortunate that the test results show that there are still too many compatibility issues with this new feature with Windows 10. This is the reason why Microsoft halted the implementation of Eco mode in order to "refine the experience and solve it" some issues" have been reported through Feedback Hub.
In addition, there are a series of other patches that have been deployed by Microsoft on Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21387 that you can refer to for details HERE.
