Messaging tips without installing Facebook Messenger
With the tips below, users can continue to message directly from Facebook without installing the Facebook Messenger application.
The world's No. 1 social network has blocked the messaging feature directly on the Facebook application for mobile devices and forces users to install Facebook Messenger messaging application. However, the Facebook Messenger application again causes users to experience annoyances such as battery drain, storage capacity and RAM consumption.
In order to solve these problems, developers at the XDA-Devs forum have announced Re-enabler Facebook Chat application. This application will allow Android users to message directly from the Facebook application as before.
To text this way, you need to remove the Facebook Messenger application . Then download and install Facebook Chat Re-enabler ( as a .apk file ).
Re-enabler Facebook Chat is currently compatible with all versions of Facebook apps running on Android.
