Lenovo updates Ivy Bridge processors for a variety of computers

A range of computers such as the ThinkPad T430, X230, W530 or ThinkCentre Edge 92 and Edge 92z are all equipped with the latest Intel processor platform.

Lenovo has just introduced a new series of ThinkPad computers using Ivy Bridge processors in Singapore. All are equipped with Enhanced Experience 3 (EE3) feature that allows Windows 7 machines to have a 40% faster boot time than other models. However, the manufacturer does not provide specific configuration for these products.

T430 is an upgrade of ThinkPad T420 with Ivy Bridge chip and backlight keyboard.

The ThinkPad T430 is an upgraded version of the T420 model using Sandy Bridge processors. It uses Nvidia's discrete graphics card and has the option of a backlit backlit keyboard. The price of ThinkPad T430 is 1,999 SGD (equivalent to 1,589 USD).

Meanwhile, the 12.5-inch ThinkPad X230 is upgraded from the X220 model. This product also has a choice of bright backlit keyboard with USB 3.0 port. According to Cnet, the ThinkPad X230 is priced at 2,099 SGD (approximately 1,668 USD).

Model W530 is for users who focus on graphics processing performance. Customers can choose premium Nvidia Quadro graphics card when purchasing this product. This model is priced at 3,599 SGD (equivalent to 2,860 USD).

The ThinkCentre M92p is as thick as a golf ball.

In addition, Lenovo also released the ThinkCentre M92p and Edge 92z with prices of 1,130 SGD and 1,499 SGD respectively (equivalent to 898 and 1,192 USD). In it, the ThinkCentre M92p is advertised as just as thick as a golf ball and supports three independent monitors with integrated graphics and Edge 92z is the " thinnest commercial all-in-one computer" . The ThinkPad Edge 9z has a 21.5-inch touch screen and supports Intel WiDi wireless content sharing technology.

In addition, a series of models like M82SFF, M72z AIO, the ThinkStations E31, C30, D30 and S30 are also updated with the latest Intel processors. However, computer models are only sold on its website.
