Steps to install Windows 10 build 14393.222
Important note:
Before taking the steps, you should make a backup of the entire system to avoid possible bad situations.
1. First open Start , then enter Task Scheduler into the Search frame and press Enter to open the Task Scheduler window.
2. On Task Scheduler window, expand Microsoft Task Scheduler Library => .
3. Select XblGameSave .
4. In the right pane, right-click XblGameSaveTask , select Disable .
5. Right-click XblGameSaveTaskLogon and select Disable .
6. Close the Task Scheduler window again.
7. Press Windows + E key combination to open File Explorer .
8. On the File Explorer window, navigate to the key:
C: WindowsSystem32TasksMicrosoftXblGameSave
9. Find and delete both files: XblGameSaveTask and XblGameSaveTaskLogon .
10. Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run command window.
11. On the Run command window, enter regedit there and press Enter or click OK to open the Registry window under Admin .
If you are unsure, enter regedit in the Search box on Start Menu , then on the search results list, right-click it and select Run as Administrator .
12. In the Registry window, navigate to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionScheduleTaskCacheTreeMicrosoftXblGameSave
13. Right-click and delete the subkeys: XblGameSaveTask and XblGameSaveTaskLogin .
14. Close the Registry window.
15. Open Settings .
16. Click on Update & security .
17. Click Check for updates to install the new update.
After you have completed the steps above, you can install Windows 10 build 14393.222 on your device. After installing the update (update), the 2 tasks that you deleted earlier will reappear, which means you will not have to change the changes again.
