Instructions on how to update your status on Zalo

Zalo has recently updated its status feature, similar to Facebook and Instagram, which also displays statuses for 24 hours after posting. You can choose to post emotional statuses or activity content from the list provided by Zalo. Below is a guide on how to update your status on Zalo.

 

How to update your status on Zalo

Step 1:

On the Zalo interface, tap the person icon at the bottom. Then, on the new interface, tap the emoji icon to enter your message.

 

Step 2:

At this point, users will see the option to post a status on Zalo with Emotions and Activities . For example, if you select Activities, you can write content for that activity. After writing, click on Viewing Permissions to adjust the status's visibility on Zalo.

 

Step 3:

Here you have 3 options to adjust the viewing permissions for your status . We select the setting we want to apply to the status on Zalo.

 

Step 4:

After you've finished writing your content, click "Post" in the bottom right corner. You'll then see the status displayed in your profile picture, as shown below.

 

Step 5:

Tap on the status on Zalo to edit the content if needed, or delete the Zalo status before it expires.
