How to Recall Instagram Messages

When chatting via direct messages on Instagram, sometimes we accidentally send the wrong message to the other person or send the wrong content, for example. If this happens, you can undo the Instagram message before the other person reads the content so that no one knows. Instagram does not send any notification when we undo a message or media file. Here is a guide to undo an Instagram message.

How to Recall Instagram Messages

Step 1:

You open the message on Instagram and then text as usual. At the message you want to recall, we hold down on the message to display the options menu. Now in the interface, you click Recall to do it.

 

Step 2:

Instagram will then prompt you to edit your Instagram message before recalling it. If you don't want to edit it, tap Recall to delete the sent Instagram message immediately.

Messages you send will be immediately unsent by both parties in the conversation.

If you do not cancel sending a message within 10 minutes, it will be impossible to recall the message.
