Instagram adds a feature to send text messages

In the 12/12 night event (Vietnam time) in the US, Instagram introduced Instagram Direct to send text messages, videos and photos to friends.

With this feature, Instagram is no longer focusing on photography but towards 'moments' . Not only does it communicate with images, videos, Instagram also allows people to communicate with characters in a discreet way.

After editing the photo with Instagram, you can send it to up to 15 people or just 1 person. However, each conversation needs to start with an image. If your friend is online, their avatar will appear in the chat window. Touch the new Inbox button in the right corner of the Instagram home screen to read recent messages. Just like on Twitter , only those you follow (follow) can send you photos and videos.

The new feature of Instagram means that this image social network initially joins the battle of free messaging apps like WhatsApp , Kik , Viber , Snapchat .
