How to use NoScript utility on Google Chrome
Step 1:
Users click on the link below to install NoScript utility on Chrome.
- Download the NoScript Chrome utility
Step 2:
Now you can access any website and usually the banner ads are displayed on the left and right of the screen, but the utility automatically blocks some ads on the page. Clicking on the widget icon will have 3 different options including:
- TRUSTED: Total trust.
- Temp. TRUSTED: Temporary trust.
- UNTRUSTED: Unreliable. When activating this label, the content is not loaded, including ads.
Step 4:
In the options bar, if the TRUSTED icon is clicked on the content that is blocked and reloaded , the ads will show again.
Click on the utility icon again and users will see more content blocked on the page by the gadget. When pressing TRUSTED content, the ad will show up on the web interface.
To turn off all ads, click the UNTRUSTED icon again and reload the page, the ads are no longer included, including Google ads.
Note there are some websites that require JavaScript like Facebook to operate. If UNTRUSTED mode is enabled on the NoScript utility, the content is not displayed. At that time you only need to switch back to TRUSTED.
