What is Bluetooth Tethering?

It works by establishing a wireless Bluetooth connection between two devices, allowing the second device to access the Internet through mobile data or the first device's WiFi connection.
How to set up Bluetooth Tethering between two Android phones
Your Android phone can share your Internet connection via WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB connection. Of these, Bluetooth Tethering is the safest and least hassle-free option.
Although Bluetooth Tethering is typically slower than WiFi and USB Tethering, it tends to be more energy efficient. This is how you can use the Bluetooth Tethering feature to share Internet between two Android mobile phones. Note that the menus may be slightly different depending on the device you are using but the basic steps will be the same.
1. Turn on Mobile Data on the Android phone you want to share the Internet with or connect it to a WiFi network if you want.
2. Open the Settings app and go to Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering .
3. Turn on the toggle next to Bluetooth tethering.
4. On the other Android device, press and hold the Bluetooth icon in the Quick Settings panel.
5. Turn on the Bluetooth switch and tap the internet sharing device.
6. Accept the pairing request on both devices.
7. Once both devices are paired, make sure to enable Internet connection sharing on the Android phone sharing the Internet connection by going to Connections > Bluetooth and selecting the paired Bluetooth device.
If you have any problems pairing your devices, you can easily fix Bluetooth problems on Android by restarting both phones or clearing the Bluetooth cache.
Unlike WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth Tethering can only be used to share an Internet connection with one device at a time. Additionally, Bluetooth Tethering typically has a range of up to 30 feet, but you should keep your devices much closer than that.
