First, to ensure a successful Windows Hello setup on your HP laptop using fingerprint authentication, you need to make sure your device has the necessary hardware and that you have logged into your Microsoft account. Step 1: Click the Windows button in the bottom left corner of your screen or on your keyboard. Select Settings , which has a gear icon.

Step 2: Next, click on the Accounts section ;

Step 3: In the new window, select Sign-in options . Then, select Set up under Windows Hello Fingerprint .

Step 4: A notification window will appear; click " Get started " to begin the installation process.

Step 5: Touch and move your finger on the fingerprint scanner built into the laptop;

Step 6: Once the process is complete, click Add another to set up Windows Hello Fingerprint for another finger, or select Close to finish.
