Method 1 of 3:
Sending a Video in Messages for iOS

Images 1 of How to Send Video on Apple Messages Open the Messages app. If you want to send a video that's already on your device, you can select it from the gallery in Messages. -

Images 3 of How to Send Video on Apple Messages Tap the Photo icon. It's the camera at the bottom left corner of the screen.[1]- If you don't see the icon, tap the arrow to the left of the message box.

Images 4 of How to Send Video on Apple Messages Tap a video to send. To find the video you can either:- Swipe right on the gallery at the bottom of the screen until you locate its thumbnail.
- Swipe left on the gallery and then tap the Photo Library icon to browse all photos.
