How to receive Gmail notifications on Desktop screen?
Receiving Gmail notifications on the Desktop is one of Gmail's cool and new features. You only need to sign in to Gmail in your browser. When there is any message, any new email will automatically notify you on your Desktop. If your work requires regular checking of mail, this is an extremely useful feature for you.
The instructions below are implemented on the new Gmail interface, if not enabled, do it now, very nice and convenient.
To set up receiving Gmail notifications on the Desktop, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Log in to your Gmail account. Then click on the serrated icon in the right corner and select Settings .
Or, after logging in to your Gmail account on your browser, visit the link below: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/3/#settings/general
Step 2:
Click the General / General tab, scroll down to find Desktop Notifications / Desktop Notifications :
Here you can choose from 1 of 3 options:
- Turn on new mail notifications on: Notify you when there are any new messages in your inbox.
- Enable important mail notifications (Important mail notifications on): Only notify you when there is an important mail sent to your inbox.
- Turn off mail notifications (Mail notifications off): Turn off mail notifications.
You choose the option you want, then drag it to the bottom and choose Save / Save to save the newly created option.
