How to make the Taskbar transparent on Windows 10 and Windows 11 using TranslucentTB

How to make the Windows 10 Taskbar transparent

Step 1: First, you need to download  TranslucentTB to your computer.

Step 2: Right-click on the TranslucentTB file and run it as Administrator .

Step 3: After the file finishes running, look at the image below the TranslucentTB toolbar icon. Right-click on the TranslucentTB icon and three options will appear:

Blur: Makes the Taskbar blurry.
Clear: Makes the Taskbar transparent.
Exit: Exits the software.

Choose either Blur or Clear to change the transparency of the Taskbar on Windows 10.

Step 4: To create TranslucentTB at startup , create a Shortcuts file.

First , press Window + R to open the Run window . Then type the command shell:startup.

Step 5: Next, from the extracted TranslucentTB folder, right-click on TranslucentTB and copy it to the window where you just typed the command above.

Step 6: Finally, create a Shortcuts file so that the application will automatically launch the transparency function when your computer starts up.

Additionally, you can access more options by editing the information in Properties.

Right-click the TranslucentTB tool and select Properties.

In the Target field , you can add some of the following statements immediately after the application path (separated by a space).

--Blur makes the taskbar blurry, which is also the default setting.
--Opaque makes the taskbar a single color (not transparent). By default, the color is black, but you can change it using --tint .
--Transparent makes the taskbar transparent. With --tin, you can add a subtle highlight color.
--Tint lets you choose a color that works with the --opaque or transparent option (does not work with --blur).

Then click OK to apply your options to the taskbar.
