How to lock your Facebook account temporarily

Frequently use facebook, but for some reason you want to temporarily lock your account for a while. Then you reuse the temporarily locked facebook account. However, you do not know how to temporarily lock facebook?

The following article shows you how to temporarily lock facebook for a while, invite you to follow along and follow these steps:

Step 1: You choose the triangle icon -> Settings .

Step 2: On the Settings window , select Security in the list on the left.

Step 3: On the Security Settings interface , select Edit on the Deactivate Your Account line .

Step 4: Next, select Deactivate your account .

Step 5: On the Deactivate page , select the reason for locking facebook in Reason for leaving (1).

If you do not want to receive any notifications from facebook to your email you need to tick the box Opt out of receiving future emails from Facebook (2) (Do not receive emails from facebook in the future).

If you want to automatically unblock facebook, you can select the check box before Automatically reactivate my account in (3), and choose the time to start disabling facebook otherwise you can leave it blank.

Finally, press Deactivate (4) to lock facebook account.

A confirmation dialog appears, enter the facebook password in the Password section and click Deactivate Now .

After confirming, your facebook will be locked and automatically logged out. To unblock facebook, all you need to do is login to your account.

So you can lock facebook quickly, within a fixed period of time, when you need to reactivate facebook you just need to log back in with your username and password. Or if you let the account automatically reactivate in step 5, then after the time you set up your account will automatically reactivate. Good luck!
