How to capture and post Panorama 360-degree photos on Facebook
The term Panorama photography is certainly no stranger to many people. Offering unique photography techniques, users can take panoramic photos at any location by phone, with wide angles of 110 degrees, 240 degrees or most recently up to 360 degrees. A panoramic picture with a wide frame is certainly much more unique than just shooting in a narrow setting.
Currently, Panorama photography feature is available on iOS and Android operating systems. However, this feature will be available and available with iOS 6 and above. With the same Android operating system, when you upgrade to the latest operating system, the Panorama feature is built into the device's photography application. In this article, Network Administrator will show you how to take Panorama photos on iOS and Android.
1. How to take Panorama photos on iOS:
With iPhone on 4S or newer, Panorama capture feature is also available in addition to upgrading the latest operating system.
Step 1:
You open up the Camera on iPhone and appear to take a photo interface in normal camera mode.
Step 2:
To switch to Panorama mode , swipe the iPhone screen from right to left twice to Panorama mode. We will see the camera in PANO mode means taking Panorama.
Step 3:
Panorama mode will capture from the left and move to the right . You will see the arrow move in that direction on the screen. If you like, you can also change the direction by clicking the arrow , to capture from right to left .
Step 4:
Panorama mode is portrait portrait portrait taking . Therefore, you need to hold the iPhone vertically in this mode, without leaving the landscape horizontal.
Click the shutter button to take Panorama photos. Next, hold the phone firmly so that it does not vibrate, avoid blurring the image and try to move the center on the straight line from the left to the right or from right to left. Where do you put the camera, the image will appear right on the screen
Note , if we move much more than the golden line, the iPhone will tell you to scroll down (Move Down), move up (Move Up). If you put it quickly, it will slow down (Slow Down).
Step 5:
After you finish shooting, just press the shutter button to save the image .
Step 6:
And if you want to shoot in landscape mode , it's simple. Rotate iPhone horizontally and also perform vertical shooting of the camera as above. Turn the camera on the yellow line and press the shutter button to save it.
To view 360-degree photos, simply click on the image and swipe left and right to see the panorama.
2. How to take Panorama photos on Android:
In this article, we will take the example of the HTC Butterfly 2 series, the 6.0.1 operating system. With this operating system, Panorama capture feature has been built-in. If your device does not already have one, we can download the software below.

Step 1:
You open the Camera on the phone. At the normal photo interface, we click on the menu icon on the screen. Then, shooting modes appear. You select Panorama mode.
Step 2:
The screen will switch to 360-degree shooting mode . To shoot, press the camera key and bring the camera horizontally from left to right or right to left. Try to keep the white line in line with the yellow dashed line to get a good picture. This panorama shooting mode will also have a screen shot mode available.
We proceed with the camera rotation. The scene in the photo will also appear in the direction of moving your phone. When shooting is complete, click the capture icon to save the image .
Step 3:
To shoot horizontally , you also rotate the camera horizontally and proceed with shooting as per vertical mode above.
The work of panorama mode will look like the image below.
Note , keeping the device in a straight line will be difficult to try to keep the device in place. If you accidentally translate the camera up or down, off the yellow line, the photo will not look good. The saved image will be disconnected and up and down according to the camera rotation taken as shown below:
3. How to post and view 360-degree photos on Facebook:
Add another feature that Facebook owner provides to the latest user, that is, can post and view 360-degree panoramas on Facebook. After you feel satisfied with Panorama mode photography on your smartphone, you can share the results with your friends. How to post panoramic photos as well as view photos on Facebook is quite simple, you can refer to how to do with the steps as follows.
Step 1:
You log into the Facebok account and select the image post as usual.
When we click on it, you will be taken to the image storage section on the device. With photos taken in panorama mode there will be a 360 degree circle icon as shown below.
Step 2:
Select the image you want to post to Facebook, click Done to share it with everyone.
Note , at each photo post, we are only allowed to post 1 picture of 360 degree mode. If you post 2 photos or more, we cannot view the photo in 360 degree mode. Unlike you can post multiple photos at the same time in normal mode.
Step 3:
You can also write status for images, check in, tag friends, . or other common actions like when posting photos to Facebook. When you're done editing, click Post to post photos to Facebook.
Step 4:
360-degree photos have been posted on your personal Facebook, with a characteristic compass icon. To view photos, we just need to tilt the camera at any angle, the image will automatically rotate accordingly .
If you want to view 360-degree photos on a computer, it will be a little different when viewed on the phone. Photo spheres when you view on Facebook the web platform will still have a compass icon.
To view photos, we just need to hover over the image and then drag the image to every direction at any angle you want . Click on the image and zoom in to see more clearly.
As such, you can view any panoramic 360-degree photo on mobile Facebook or with the web platform.Note , the photo has a new compass icon that is 360 degrees and we can see it.
