Google Authenticator for Android supports moving accounts when exchanging new devices
According to Engadget , Google is starting to deploy a new update for Authenticator on Android with the most notable feature that allows users to switch accounts when users change new devices.
Specifically, users will find an import / export tool to move accounts by creating QR codes that they can scan on the target device.
With the new feature, migrating users' work email accounts or social networks becomes significantly easier while keeping them locked with two-factor authentication.
Besides, the new update also makes a leap forward in Google's modern aesthetic design and supports a truly dark theme. However, Google usually takes some time to deploy the update to users over the OTA protocol, but users can install it via APK Mirror if they don't want to wait.
