Change icon for Mac OS folder
Instead of working with boring blue icons, you can choose any favorite photo to make the folder icon in Mac OS with just 3 simple steps.
1. Select the folder you want to change the icon and press Cmd + I to open the folder's information panel.
2. Now open any photo you want. For example, you open the image with Preview and then press Cmd + A to select it, then press Cmd + C to copy the image.
3. Click on the icon thumbnail to the right of the information panel of the folder you have opened, then press Cmd + V to paste the image.
At this time, the folder icon has changed as you like. With this simple trick, you can start reorganizing folders in Mac OS to make it easier to work or search folders.
If you don't want to use this icon anymore, just re-open the folder's information panel, click on the icon thumbnail and press Delete.
