7 ultrabook uses Ivy Bridge chips in Vietnam

After Intel introduced the 3rd generation Core i processor, the manufacturers started to release their new generation ultrabooks. Sony is the vendor of ultrabook using Ivy Bridge chip in the market soon.

Here are the ultrabooks that use the new processor that just appeared in Vietnam.

Sony Vaio T

Sony sold to Vietnam market its first ultrabook line is Vaio T. Vaio T with 2 11-inch and 13-inch versions with the name T13 and T11. The duo has an aluminum and magnesium alloy shell and a luxurious scratchy layer on the top. The 13-inch version weighs only 1.6 kg and is 17.8 mm thin. Vaio T13 and T11 Both versions are running the latest Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000 chip, hybrid hard drive with 500 GB HDD capacity and 32 GB drive SSD for faster data access and faster boot. Both share important connections like Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, USB 3.0 and 2.0. Vaio T11 is priced at nearly VND 19 million while the Vaio T13 is at VND 21 million

Lenovo IdeaPad U410

U410 has 3 lead gray, red blue, 14 inch machine weighing 1.8 kg, 21 mm thick, the introduced battery takes 9 hours with normal operation. Lenovo IdeaPad U410 uses Intel Core i5 processor latest 3rd generation, 4 GB DDR3 memory, 32 GB SSD drive and 750 GB HDD. It is also equipped with Nvidia GeForce 610M 1 GB graphics card. Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) wireless display technology is also integrated in the U410, allowing it to display content on any large screen via a wireless connection. Lenovo U410 has added USB 3.0 port and a memory card slot compared to the previous model. This model is sold for nearly 21 million VND.

HP Envy 4

The ultra-thin HP Envy 4 laptop is only 20 mm thin, weighs 1.8 kg and is equipped with Beats audio system. The machine uses 14 inch LED screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Ivy Bridge Core i5 chip speed of 1.7 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive and series of LAN, HDMI, card reader and USB . HP says the battery comes with a continuous use of about 8 hours. It has many other advanced technologies such as ProtectSmart that helps better data security or Intel Rapid Start accelerates operating system boot. Products are sold for VND 20 million.

Samsung Series 5 Ultra

After the 5th Series sold earlier this year, Samsung continued to bring to the market an upgrade version with the price from VND 19.9 million for 13-inch screens and VND 23.9 million for 14-inch screens. The new Ultra keeps the ultra-slim and compact design with a silver-gray cover and metal frame, the device uses SuperBright HD 300nit LED screen to prevent glare.

Both models are equipped with powerful configuration with up to 750 GB HDD, combined with 24 GB SSD drive, Intel Core i5 3317U processor, 4 GB RAM memory can be upgraded to 8 GB. Asus Zenbook Prime

The Zenbook Prime continues with a monolithic slim design, which looks slimmer with beveled lines. The Zenbook Prime uses the Bang & Olufsen ICE audio system. 11.6-inch version UX21A uses Core i7 chip priced at VND 31 million while the larger 13-inch screen version costs VND 29.9 million for Core i5 chips and VND 33.9 million for Core chips i7.

Dell inspiron 14z

Dell inspiron 14z is 20.8 mm thin and weighs 1.87 kg and has a 7-hour battery life with aluminum housing. The two versions of this model are sold as Dell Inspiron 14z 5423 -YMRY2 and Dell Inspiron 14z 5423 Ultrabook with prices of 17.9 and 24.9 million respectively. The difference is that the more expensive version uses a 1.9 GHz Core i7-3517M chip, AMD Radeon HD7570M graphics card, while the other is the Core i3-2367M clocked at 1.4 GHz. Both have 14-inch screens, 4 GB RAM, hybrid hard drive with 500 GB HDD and 32 GB SSD.

Toshiba Portege Z930

Toshiba Portege Z930 is an upgrade of the Z830 ultrabook with the design almost the same but using Ivy Bridge chips and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Regarding basic configuration, Portege Z930 uses Intel Core i5-3317U chip with speed of 1.7GHz, 6GB RAM and 128GB SSD. In addition, the Portege Z930 is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, HDMI, VGA and Ethernet. Z930 sold in Vietnam is priced at 29.9 million for a Core i5 chip running Windows 7 Home Premium and a Core i7 chip running Window 7 Professional costs 38.9 million.
