Step 1: Create your character in Photo AI
The first step to creating an image in Photo AI is to create your character. If you want to include yourself in the photo, you can upload your own photo. The process takes less than 40 minutes on average, and you'll see an option called Create your first AI character after signing up.
Alternatively, you can choose from one of the many available characters by following these steps:
1. Scroll down to the left and navigate to Select character.
2. Choose your character from the list of available options. This tutorial will select an AI character named Chris.
Even if you're a photographer, you can still use tools like Photo AI to help with ideation and creativity.
Step 2: Choose your basic Photo AI parameters
After choosing a character or uploading your own image, you're ready to start creating your image in Photo AI. First, you will need to set some basic parameters:
- Number of photos you want to create (choose from 1 to 16 photos)
- Whether you want vertical, square or landscape images
- Face swap feature
- Do you want to use the Final Upscaler feature or not
To access all of these, scroll down to Parameters and adjust your settings as desired. This example will select 8 images in portrait mode and see what it gets.
Step 3: Insert your reminder into Photo AI
After setting up the initial parameters, you're ready to move on to the fun parts of creating images with Photo AI. First, scroll down to Prompt and type in exactly what you want to see in your photo. The more details you can provide, the better; explain what clothes you want the model to wear, along with where you want them to be, etc.
You should also use the Negative Prompt section to explain what you don't want. Think of the things that could go wrong and put them here.
If you don't know where to start, you can always copy and paste one of the many prompts already included in Photo AI. You'll see example images for each, meaning it shouldn't be too difficult to see what you can get. Just go to the Prompts tab and hover over the image you like before selecting Copy Prompt.
