Tricks when using Chrome

Chrome browser is a very commonly used browser, you may also be using this web browser. But surely you do not pay attention to the tips when using Google Chrome browser.

1. Display the Home button on the function bar.

Unlike other browsers, the default of Google Chrome does not have a Home button in the function bar. But you can still show the Home button on the function bar of the Chrome browser.

You select the Custom icon and control Google Chrome (3 dashes) and select Settings . In the Settings you find the form and click on the box before Display Home button .

Immediately after ticking the box will show the Home button in the status bar.

2. Calculate right in the address bar.

An interesting feature on Google Chrome is that it allows users to calculate right in the address bar of the browser.

You only need to enter the calculation on the address bar, for example 2 * 3, 1500/30 .

Very quickly and simply, you can use the Chrome browser to calculate.

3. Create a link to the website on the computer screen.

You can quickly access your favorite websites without spending too much time opening them. You can create links to websites on the computer screen as follows:

Go to the website you want to create links, at the website you click the Customize icon and control Google Chrome -> Other tools -> Create application shortcuts .

The Create shortcut for application dialog box appears , you can create an application shortcut by marking the square before the location for the shortcut: Desktop, Start Menu, Pin to the taskbar. You can choose all 3 ways if you want then click Create .

So you have created the link for the website.

4. Open multiple Home Page pages at the same time.

Chrome browser completely allows you to open multiple websites at the same time when you start the web browser.

You can do the following:

Select the Customize icon and control Google Chrome and select Settings .

Then you find the section On startup and check the box Open a specific page or set of pages .

Next click on the blue text set of pages beside and enter the page you want to open, when entering these click OK to save.

5. Pin feature (Pin tag).

To save space when you have many tabs open in Chrome, you can use the Pin tab feature.

Those websites that you use should stick to Chrome's tab, you just need to right-click on the tab you want to pin and select the tab pin, that tab will be reduced to save space to open more tabs.

You can pin as many tabs as you want.

6. Use Autofill to autofill information.

During the web browsing process, you often have to fill in the same information for different websites. You can do them easily with Autofill feature of Chrome browser.

You select the Customize icon and control Google Chrome and select Install . Then navigate to Passwords and forms , tick the box before Enable Autofill to fill out web forms with a single click . Click on Manage Auto-fill settings to enter the settings.

You select Add address in the Address section to add your address.

In the Credit Card section you select Add credit card to open the section to add your credit card information.

7. Sync Google account.

Just a Google account, you can sync your account to Chrome browser. You can access Google services such as Google Docs, Gmail, Youtube .

You select the Customize icon and control Google Chrome and select Sign in . A login interface will appear, enter your account name and password to log in and sync your account.
