Tips to download videos from YouTube, Google

Currently on Yahoo! 360 ^o more and more videos and music videos are prepared by your friends and inserted into your blog. If you want to download them for offline viewing, do the following (apply to both Internet Explorer and FireFox browsers).

In your web browser, on the blog there is a 'spend' videoclip file of YouTube or Google Video service. Go to View> Source menu (or anywhere in the page, select View Source in the right-click menu). Immediately a notepad file will appear, press Ctrl + F (menu Edit> Find) to call the Find dialog box.

In case of YouTube, enter the keyword ' youtube.com ' in the Find what box and press Enter. You will find the following address:

http://www.youtube.com/v/zguOoMqvVUk

In case of Google Video, enter the keyword ' video.google.com ' into Find what and press Enter to do so, the result will be:

http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId = 2907828482994238130

Please modify the address to be like this (note the I in docId to i ):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zguOoMqvVUk

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2907828482994238130

This is the original file address on the official website of YouTube and Google Video that the authors have inserted into their blog, please do some operations to download offline viewing as thanks to Keepvid page: http:/// keepvid. com or Video Downloader 1.0 software. Or download in two simple ways, also very effective:

1. Download Youtube manually (no need to go through any intermediate page):

Open a new page in the browser you are using and paste in the Address box the path you searched for, for example: http://www.youtube.com/v/zguOoMqvVUk (that is, in Notepad, after searching get the address cluster, you only need to delete the '' sign). Then press Enter.

Now, at the page you have just finished reviewing will appear videoclip file window of the same YouTube in the blog you have viewed. In the Address box, replace the word ' p.swf ' with the word ' get_video '.

Press Enter to proceed to download the file from YouTube to your device. The download window will appear and you will only find the folder to save the downloaded file.

Note : You can paste the link after replacing it with the phrase ' get_video ' into any downloadable program such as Flashget, Internet Download Manager . to increase download speed.

After downloading, the file will be named ' get_video ' you need to change the file name to avoid being overwritten when done next time.

To view files in this format (* .flv), you use Windows Media Player 11, or Riva software FLV Encoder, FLV Player or convert to regular file formats through online tools such as Media-Convert, FLV Online Converter .

2. Download Google Video :

You paste the original Google Video link, for example: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2907828482994238130 ) into the Address box of IE. Then, click the Download button to proceed to download the device. If your device has a download manager, you should not choose to download it on these software because they will download the entire site as htm. Choose Manually to download videos to download using your web browser.

The file you downloaded is in * .gvp format. To be able to view this file, download the Google Video Player program right next to it (Manually download Google Video Player).
