SV2 diving mask restricts blurring due to steam, giving you a better view
SV2 diving mask restricts fog, giving you a better view of the water.
Some dive masks now have some defects such as being created by steam, obscured, the walls look unclear on the ocean floor. To overcome these problems, Wildhorn Outfitters recently released a new diving mask called the Seaview 180 SV2 mask. It will provide a wide view, with a travel camera and two separate breathing chambers to reduce blurring by steam and allow you to breathe more easily on the ocean floor.
The overall design of the Seaview 180 SV2 mask is quite similar to the original Seaview 180, but instead of having to clip the tube in your mouth like a cheap K-Mart snorkel, Seaview 180 SV2 is built to cover the entire face. The large lens is designed to provide a 180-degree view of the sea in front and a well-ventilated breathing chamber is separated from the eye to keep it from covering the view.
A durable silicone piece forms a watertight layer around your face, and if there is water passing through the protective layer, it will automatically exit through a lever when you lift the head out of the water. There is also an attached itinerary camera that helps you get back to interesting underwater videos.
The improved Seaview 180 SV2 is better than the predecessor product. This tube has a new dome design that is said to have "optimal surface angles", and thanks to a component called "Flowtech System", the air is rotated through the mask better. The snorkel has two separate exits to the outside world, so a pipe will provide air and the other way acts as an exhaust pipe.
Along with reducing the blur caused by steam, this system will help CO2 not form in the mask.
Currently, Wildhorn is seeking funding for Seaview 180 SV2 design on Kickstarter. Commitments start at 79 USD for a mask.
