How to hide Firefox private tabs with fingerprint
The new Firefox Android app adds the ability to hide private tabs using your fingerprint or FaceID, depending on your phone's security method. When you exit a private window or quit Firefox completely, the browser will automatically lock those tabs, requiring you to enter your fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN to access them the next time you open them. Here's how to hide Firefox private tabs.
How to Hide Firefox Private Tabs with Fingerprint
Step 1:
At the Firefox interface, click on the 3-dot icon and select Settings in the displayed list.
Step 2:
Go to the settings interface for Firefox browser, we scroll down and click on Private browsing to adjust. Now you need to click on the Set up screen lock setting to hide the tabs , if the phone does not use a screen lock.
Step 3:
Now you need to set up a screen lock for your Android phone . Return to the browser settings interface, you just need to enable Use screen lock to hide tabs in private browsing mode.
As soon as you exit incognito browsing and access it again, you will be asked to enter your password, or FaceID, fingerprint to unlock and access the private tab on the browser.
