Microsoft is developing a feature to enable indirect Cortana
Voice activated indirectly is a new feature when discussing upgrading for personal virtual assistants. It won't be strange for customers who own the Xbox One with Kinect. Perhaps Microsoft is ambitious to follow its rival Google (with the Moto X).
Marcus Ash has appeared recently or with his feature statements about Twitter. Management Microsoft Windows Phone software reveals features:
" That's something we thought about when we were designing the voice activation feature for #Cortana. I didn't want Jesse to send you a representative message. "
Ash is referring to an advertisement for Xbox One, in which star in " Breaking Bad " - Aaron Paul ordered " Xbox On " to turn on the Xbox One system with his Kinect. And that must be alluded to Ash's and his team's concerns when designing Cortana.
This feature is really interesting. However, to get it, the Snapdragon 800 is the minimum you need. Microsoft has to some extent accidentally ( or intentionally ) made Cortana's features fragmented, annoying users of old hardware.
It is a pity that not all Windows Phone devices own this feature in the future as Google is planning to do with all their Android products.
Do you have any comments about this feature? Would you spend a large amount of money to buy a new phone to order Cortana without touching the phone?
