To enable or disable this feature, follow the steps below:
1. Open Cortana.
2. Click the Menu button (3 dash line icon in the top left corner).
3. Click Settings in the bottom corner of the list.
4. Switch the status option Send notifications between devices to ON or OFF .
On Windows 10 Mobile you also find the option to Read incoming text messages aloud .
Available options include:
- Off
- Always On
- Bluetooth and wired headsets
- Bluetooth only (default)
- Wired headset only

To set the language for Cortana, follow the steps below:
1. Open Cortana.
2. Click the Menu button (3 dash line icon in the top left corner).
3. Click Settings in the bottom corner of the list.

1. Open Settings.
2. Click on Time & language.
3. Click Speech.
4. Check the Recognize non-native accents option for this language .
