How to learn the shortcuts efficiently
- Start with Grid, Edit, Crop, Undo and Show Original.
- Add culling shortcuts—Z, X, U and 0–5—when reviewing a shoot.
- Learn the tool keys you use most, such as W for white balance and H for healing.
- Use Ctrl+F or Command+F on Adobe's reference page to find an unfamiliar command.
Why older lists can be misleading
Shortcuts such as Library Grid, Loupe and Develop-module commands belong to Lightroom Classic workflows and should not be mixed into a Lightroom Desktop list. Keyboard layout, operating system and app updates can also affect a key. If a shortcut does not behave as expected, confirm the application name and consult the matching Adobe page.
