In iOS 26, users can set chat wallpapers for the Messages app. Custom wallpapers make the iPhone messaging interface more interesting and unique with your own images, thereby creating personal highlights for conversations. However, many people do not like to use message wallpapers on iPhone because they are quite confusing. Below are instructions for turning off message wallpapers on iPhone.
How to turn off message wallpaper on iPhone
Message wallpaper on iPhone as shown below. Wallpaper is selected by photo sent in iPhone message as shown below.
Step 1:
You access Settings on iPhone, then scroll down and select Applications . Next, you enter the Messages application in the search bar and select to access.
Step 2:
Switch to the settings interface for the Messages app on iPhone, scroll down and you will see the Conversation Background option is on . We need to turn off the conversation background mode to turn off the message wallpaper on iPhone.
Step 3:
You exit the Messages app and then access the conversation again. As a result, we will see that the iPhone message wallpaper has disappeared and returned to the default background in iPhone messages.
If you want to use the iPhone message wallpaper feature again, we need to turn it back on in the message settings.
