How to Insert Text into Videos on iPhone

IMovie is preinstalled on most iPhone phones, but you can also apply from the App Store if your phone is not available. Illustrative steps are done on iPhone phones. However, you can take the same steps with iPads and other iOS devices.

Instructions for inserting text into videos with iMovie for iPhone

Open the iMovie app.

Tap Project then select the video you want to add text. If there is no video in Project yet, press the + button to add video to the project.

Tap the main project icon to open the project and edit the video

Now, select the video timeline near the bottom of the screen to display the available editing options. Then select the "T" icon to add text and access iMovie text editing tools

Select the type of text and the position you want, for example, Standard font and Center position. Tap the text to edit or change the content with the iOS keyboard. When done, press the back arrow "<", then select the Share icon to save the video
