Instructions for displaying My Computer icon on Desktop screen Windows 7, 8, 10
1. Add My Computer icon on Desktop Windows 10
If you want to add icons like Computer, Recycle Bin, Control Panel or any of the icons, follow the steps below:
First on the Desktop, right-click and choose Personalize.
A new window will appear, select Themes in the left menu, then select Desktop icon setting under the Related Settings option.
Next check the checkbox for the icons you want to display on the Desktop.
Select Computer to add the Computer icon on the Desktop.
2. Add My Computer icon on Windows 7.8 or Vista Desktop
On the Desktop, right-click and choose Personalize , then select Change Desktop Icons .
Check the checkbox for the icon you want to display on the Desktop.
Select Computer to display the My Computer icon on the Desktop.
3. On Windows 7 or Windows Vista
To display the My Computer icon on Wibdows 7 or Windows Vista, click on Start , then right-click Computer .
Select Show on Desktop .
