Windows Copilot can remember some information from your interactions to provide more personalized feedback. While this feature can be useful, you may want to manage Copilot storage or clear stored data for privacy or personal preference reasons. In this guide, you'll find two ways to manage or clear Copilot storage in Windows 11.
Clear Copilot's memory via the app's settings.
Step 1:
Open Copilot, then tap the profile icon in the bottom left corner and select Settings .
Step 2:
In the new interface, select " Manage memory" to delete the specific memory you want. To delete all memory, click on "Privacy" .
Now simply press Delete Memory to erase all saved Copilot memory at once.
Clear Copilot cache from Microsoft Edge
If you use Copilot through Microsoft Edge, you can manage storage directly from Edge's Copilot settings.
Step 1:
Open Microsoft Edge and click the Copilot icon in the upper right corner of the browser.
Continue by tapping the three-dot icon and then selecting Settings from the displayed menu.
Step 2:
We then click on Privacy to adjust the settings.
Next, select Personalization and Storage Management , then press the Clear All Storage button to proceed.
