On the Windows Media Player interface , right-click it and select Play> Lyrics, captions, and subtitles> On if available.
Next, install the DirectVobSub add-on for Windows Media Player to optimize the display of Subtitles. After installing, go to the folder containing the video files and Subtitles earlier, right-click on the Subtitles file and change '.srt' to '.sub'.
It's done now, turn off and re-open the video with Windows Media Player to enjoy it.
If you want faster and more convenient, you can use other professional video players such as VLC Player or KMPlayer .
You can enable or disable Subtitles directly from Windows Media Player. To do this, first open Windows Media Player, then right-click on the toolbar, then click Play => Lyrics, Captions and Subtitles => Turn Off or Turn On (turn off or turn on subtitles) if available.
In addition, you can set whether to enable or disable video subtitles on Windows 10 via the Settings menu:
First press the Windows + I key combination to open the Settings menu, then select Ease of Access.
Here you can adjust settings such as adjusting subtitle colors, style and subtitle sizes or some other subtitle effects .
Good luck!
