How to unmatch on Tinder
Just like popular social networking platforms, Tinder allows users to interact with each other on a personal level. If you feel like you have a crush on someone, you can 'match' them to interact and learn more deeply. On the contrary, after talking and not feeling well together, you can easily 'unmatch' that person if you want, by doing the following simple steps.
How to unmatch on Tinder
Unmatch is a necessary feature when you really want to end a relationship on Tinder. This will remove that user from your personal profile. Proceed as follows:
First, launch the Tinder app on your iPhone or Android phone. On the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, click the message icon as shown below.
On the message screen that opens, click select the user you want to unmatch.
Your conversation with that user will immediately open. On this screen, you look up at the top right corner and tap the shield icon.
You should now see a menu titled ' Safety Toolkit '. Click on the ' Unmatch Only ' option from this menu.
( Tip : If you both want to de-match and also want to report this person because you think they have suspicious behavior, violate community policies, click the ' Report & Unmatch ' option).
A message will appear on the screen, press ' Yes, Unmatch ' to confirm.
That's all you need to do. You and this person will no longer have contact with each other on Tinder.
