How to keep Tinder private from Facebook
When setting up your Tinder profile, you need to have a Facebook account. Facebook is part of the way Tinder works, so keeping your Vebuu account private from your Facebook account is very difficult, although not impossible.
The following options, used in combination or individually, will help you limit the visibility of your Facebook profile when using Tinder. Most of these methods are easy to implement (only takes a few minutes).
Increase Facebook security settings
Many people still use Facebook without any privacy settings. Anyway, that is not recommended, so you should apply at least some security measures for your account.
You will want to keep the details displayed to a minimum of potential contacts via the Tinder app, instead of Facebook. Nothing worse than someone you've never met posted directly on your wall, right?
Set up Tinder without friends on Facebook
In Tinder, you used to be able to change settings and ask it not to connect you with friends on Facebook. Previously, if you had not enabled this option, you would sometimes appear in a friend's feed, meaning that your use of Vebuu was revealed.
Vebuu has this feature enabled by default. The fact that you cannot turn off this feature means that if you are friends with someone on Facebook, they will never appear among your potential audiences and vice versa.
Hide Tinder from Facebook application
Facebook allows integration of many different services. When you agree, a variety of different services will be connected to Facebook and sometimes you can text your friends or post on your wall.
However, no one wants to reveal the truth about your use of Vebuu, so you need to access your settings to hide Vebuu access to your profile. You can do this in Facebook. Go to Privacy settings and then select See more settings . In this section, you need to select Apps and from there, you can decide access rights for each application. To control the application, you need to click Edit on the right of the application.
In Visibility of app and posts , select Only me. Now your friends won't see your access to the app anymore.
Create a 'fake' account
The article is not intended to trick you. The 'fake' account you are about to set up will include your real name, real details, real interests and most importantly your real photo.
The purpose of creating this account is to help you log in to Vebuu separately from the main Facebook account.
