The Instagram interface unexpectedly changes to horizontal browsing like Tinder, and it's 'error'
Last night (in Vietnamese time), Instagram suddenly updated the new interface. Accordingly, the new Instagram version will browse horizontally like Tinder instead of vertical scrolling as before.
With the new interface, to browse images, users will have to swipe across or click the left or right half of the screen.
Unfortunately, Instagram's new interface faces user protests. Many people don't like it and think that this change is a step backward, making it difficult to slow down through unrelated articles / photos.
The Instagram side quickly recovered this update, bringing everything back to normal. They give an explanation that this is a mistake in the distribution of the trial software.
Adam Mosseri, who is in charge of Instagram's current operations, said the horizontal browsing / messaging feature was only tested for a small group of users, but one mistake made it widely available.
But after the user response from this incident, Instagram will probably consider ignoring this interface.
If still affected by Instagram's new interface, users can restart the app to get to the familiar state.
